A moment of silence for The Bravery.
It appears, through credible sources on The Bravery’s message board, that my favorite band of eight years has broken up. They have had such an impact on my creative outlook, both musically and visually. And I can’t really say I didn’t see this coming. But, I just wanted to put a huge thank you and some positive feels out into the internet tubes to The Bravery.
I started listening to The Bravery when I was 14. In four years alone, I saw them live nine times, met numerous members on numerous occasions  When I was in the eighth grade, I would stay up late, with my headphone in, teaching myself all of the bass lines from the first album. During my junior year of high school, for Christmas, I asked for the same Thunderbird Dirt plays. Well, I have the lesser priced Epiphone model, but that was close enough for me.
I am 21 now, a senior studying illustration in college, and I can truthfully say that this music has shaped who I am and where I am today. It has continuously inspired me to embrace the path I have chosen and has gotten me through a heck of a lot.
Thank you Sam, John, Anthony, Dirt & Michael.
Sincerely,
A Die Hard Fan
